About this design
The owl is a symbol for mastery of wisdom, environment, and survival. No matter the hour, night or day, owls are not to be trifled with. Carrying talons of steel, eyes of a telescope and a jaw that cracks bones; the Creep is a metaphor rising to remind all who wander the earth below that there exists a greater all- seeing eye.
Lurking in the space directly between where you stand and the blinding light of the sun, the owl watches us, while we can only glimpse fluttering moments of a shadow breaking away.
The sole of a shark is tearing at the pink flesh of lesser fish. A shark, predator of the sea, an owl of the great oceans, grey meandering death scents the blood of the lost.
Teeth set to break, replaced by the fittest, only the strong survive. Survival directs us to the matriarch, mother earth, mother elephant, master of the lost drinking well. Listen to your mother and water will dwell below. Rise to the surface and drink the water.
